Jakarta

Last weekend I went to Jakarta to met Yossy because so many things that we have to discuss about our cooperation, anyway he just transit on Jakarta to Aceh for his project.
From house I used angkot than a bus because I want to pass Semarang's old town in the night on the way to train station. I think not so many Semarang's people aware with the beautifull part of this because mostly old town became place for homeless people. I took some picture and in the future I want to learn more about how to take picture because this town have such nice angle for camera.

I took business train, it means lot of noise on the middle of the night because food seller enter the train, cheap price less comfortable :)
Arrival Arrived on Senen train station around 3AM, drink coffee a little bit on warung in station. 3AM still very early for people to active but not for some people. Once I step outside the station lot of ojek (kind of public transportation by motorcycle) and taxi driver agrresively offer me their 'help'. Decided to sit once more on the station floor with others passenger, waiting the sunrise and the bus. I realised that Jakarta become more uncomfortable for the people to live in and survive. Watched the seller walked around offer me and another people a cup coffee, beggar slept on the floor not so far from me somehow it made my feeling became blue, I guess I lived in Semarang to long without back to this big city. Even Semarang is not small but on Jakarta I directly felt that life is hard just by seeing people who lived in. At last used ojek to go to Sarinah, stoped at Starbucks around 4AM. Never been to Starbucks again since I leaved Japan and because Semarang don't have it. Just sat, enjoy coffee again and read the books that I brought while waiting bus.
Next destination was Blok M because my friends live near on Barito. Tried to eat gulai (kind of kare) at Mahakam, already saw them 3 times on television so little bit interesting to try it.

Walked pass my church and my school since I start my kindergarteen until junior high school on Barito.
I woke up Ajie & Arie very early in the morning (for them hehe~), always became my first destination when arrive on Jakarta because they always provide their bath room at least for me to take a shower :P (thanks bro!!). The twins always become my best friends since kindergarteen, we growed up together on same school until junior high school. Met Yossy for lunch, continue to Monas and Gambir station because Yossy want to see Japanese train (we still use import train from Japan). Not so convinient for him because Jakarta weather and the crowded of people on the bus when we back to the hotel. First time to use busway, quiet convinient bus system for big city like Jakarta but I think we must improve passenger dicipline when took the bus especially on busy hours.

Next day Yossy went to Aceh for his project and I just use that day to see my friends, in the morning I met Ade and her daughter, Kayla. Cute daughter and really smart, still really suprised how good Ade can be as mom :) . Then I visited Manda, we never met again since I leaved Jakarta and she studied at Bandung. Relaxing day just by talked with these friends. Met Rian on Blok M bus terminal when he just back to his house from hang around Jakarta until morning and I want to take a bus to Ade's house. Really funny how and where we met, Rian is old friends from AIESEC, especially we met on 6AM. It show how busy Jakarta is :P Anyway Jakarta is really nice city if we have good job and earn good money, if you don't have it, Jakarta just become taft place to stay or that the way to live on big city. Then back to Semarang on same day.
