Ayu visited Semarang last week to attend her friend's wedding. We met to talk also about our plan to visit Karimunjawa island this July. Together with Bagus, friend who has same year with me on economic faculty, with his wife Rani, we took her to have food tour on Semarang. On Saturday we visit SEMAWIS, this street full of food seller, mostly they sell light food like this

Actually I forgot the name of this banana thing :P , but maybe it's Pisang Klenyet , I just saw also this kind of food on Sulawesi Island on TV program but not sure if available on another area on Indonesia. Basicly they grilled the banana and 'push' until 'thinner' and put chocolate chips or another topping on it.

Ayu continue with Bikang, it's content with flour and coconut (correct me if I'm wrong :P) then we end it with nasi goreng (fried rice) and mie goreng (fried noodles) as our dinner. We pushed Ayu to try Nasi Ruwet (or ruwat??), it's mix rice and noodles became one. Basicly I don't like this food, I think mix rice and noodles has complicated taste. To be continued...........
