[Travel Note] Karimunjawa (part 1)

Already several times to Karimunjawa but never write about it.
Possibly still many people thought if we want to go to Karimunjawa it will be complicated but in fact actually it’s not, but indeed still lack information from travel agency that who has the program to Karimunjawa. So for us that want to Karimunjawa must have efforts little bit , but I can guarantee if the trip to go there will worthy a lot.
For this time I post for the type of the trip that simple, could be more effort then if you want to go by ferry from Jepara if you want cheaper travel but this time I post with the fast ship first

Leaving
Like I told you above, not yet travel agency has package to Karimunjawa for the private trip, if traveller by group could be there is.
Las time we went by Kartini's fast ship from Tanjung Emas port, Semarang. The fast ship ticket could be bought in Transportation Office Province available in Street Pamularsih, could be book previously so you don’t have to worried if don’t get the ticket.
The fast ship to Karimunjawa from Semarang only available on Saturday and on Wednesday. Departed at 9 o'clock during the day with the trip about 3.5 hours.
If you get easy seasickness, you can sit in the deck behind and usually full of people.
Fast ship’s facilities including the seat is good, and usually has music and movies during the trip although the sound of the movies often could not be able to be heard.
The fast ship ticket could be obtained with the price Rp.110,000, little bit expensive but travel directly to Karimunjawa from Semarang quickly.
The trip this time disetting 3 days 4 nights, from Saturday to Tuesday.

Accomodation and Transportation
For the place to spent the night in Karimunjawa, we don’t have problem because many local people provide homestay.I usually stay in Homestay HAMFAH belong to Mr (Pak) Arif, the advantage of his homestay this is that his homestay was the first there (according to his story) also Mr Arif can arrange all of our trips plan including for snorkeling or diving because he also the instructor diving that have licence, the rate of homestay is Rp.80.000/night including 3 times meals (around 8 US$).
Our first day spent for travel around Karimunjawa by the car.One tips if you want to travel around Karimunjawa, to report our trip to the Taman Nasional Karimunjawa Office (BTNK) in pahlawan street in order to make the SIMAKSI letter. With our SIMAKSI letter could ask for help the Ranger for car (the forest ranger) there and accompany by ranger at the same time as guide, their car was comfortable and we only replaced the cost of the gasoline and some tips.
With the local people’s car also available but usually the car is not so comfortable with the road in Karimunjawa was rocky and his price quite expensive according to my opinion, another matter is local people guide can’t explain the biological diversity available there. (continue....)
