Previous entry: Karimunjawa part 1
Diving and snorkeling

Second day we spent on sea. There were 27 islands in the Karimunjawa Island. Guide in Karimunjawa usually has several points for snorkeling.
Las time we could snorkeling in Kemujan Kecil and Besar. The water was really clean and very natural so we could see the coral reef clearly. Usually on sea we can finished about 4-5 hours and could swim with the shark if we want.

Tracking

Our third day tracking to the Legon Lele Village. This village has actually died because most of the land has been bought (for investment he said) and most of family has been gone, but still had approximately 10 families that live in this village.

The route tracking could be set heavy or light depend the visitor's request, ranger from BTNK definitely can arrange the route for us.

If you like camp, there’s camp facilities ground in Legon Lele. The other activity that can be carry out while tracking is bird watching, with facilities from ranger we can be guide in order do the activity bird watching, for the beginner this activity can be one of the favourite activities to forget the stiff of our foot. Minor trip usually takes 3 hours until finish and if you want more you can see Karimunjawa from on top of the hill.

Sunrise/sunset
This was the special performance from Karimunjawa, we could see the beauty sunset every day. For sunrise definitly you need efforts and luck because of being cloudy.

Losmen Bedhot

Tuesday, June 17, 2008 by Adi

I’m planning to go to some place (hopefully it will be happen), so again browse everywhere to looks about travel tips and everything. While browse I’m remember with unique hotel that was visited by me when accompanying Aga, Alicia and Hanna in holiday about 2 years ago. For someone who visit Jogjakarta and look for place to spent the night possibly this hotel could be recommendation because cheap.

Usually if I go to jogja alone I like to stay in wisma family in Dagen Street because it’s unbelieveble cheap, clean and comfortable although without AC. That time they still have the room with 35,000 rupiahs/ night but it like the price now became more expensive.

Back about bedhot, I remember that I really like this hotel because their athmosphere is like in the house very much. This hotel possibly the hostel for bacpacker because of their guest indeed mostly international backpacker and lookly not well known around local tourists. If you see from the picture definitely you can guess that had this hotel own by artist.Yap, this hotel function as the gallery also for the owner and the place to make tato. Each room really full of art because of it’s wall was depicted by owner. Definitly hotel bedhot clean and very neat.

In middle space the guest can relax and watch DVD that available or only chatt, drank coffee-tea or beer. Because the athmosphere looks like dormitory so the guest can interact with each other. Usually the foreign guests like to share the matter tips the trip.

If you want to drink coffee-tea or beer immediately you can make it by yourself. There’s special table that was provided for the guest who want to make their drink.

This hotel indeed hostel that usually look for by backpacker and the hostel indeed self service for their guests.

For the room that can be fill up two person with AC apparently in price 75,000 or 100.000 rupiahs/night.

If you look this kind accommodation and service in the middle of the city like traveling city in Yogyakarta definitly it’s very cheap.

The Bedhot hotel was located in Sosrowijayan Wetan Street GT I that only 15 minutes from Malioboro by foot. If from train station follow Pasar Kembang street, the entry alley is the second alley.

Hotel location little bit isolate so better if you ask the person there if you want to spend the night. I’m not sure if you can book but you can tru to contact the owner by e-mail.

This hotel has homepage also, so contact them by click here.
