I did hash for the first time last saturday. I knew the word of hashing from Oriana's blog. I joined with a kind of hash groups in semarang. I thought it will be a lot of foreigner there but I found that Indonesia people has same number also there. It was quiet interesting and taft coz this time we pass the hill, and the river also wrong way so we must run back after more than half way. I finished together with Alicia but she's really strong, she's back run again to found the right way. After everyone finish, we gather for kind of hash ritual, we made a circle and they will took someone for some reason the the center (for ex: single etc) and drink beer and they will yell something.By the way I join with Lauren's car today to go to hash place, Lauren is the headmaster of Permata Bangsa school. We have dinner together at OnOn Pub, good tacos, sandwich and capucino of course :P

Last sunday, Hana invited me to have dinner at her house "if you are not afraid with 4 bule here" she said ('bule' mean people who have blonde hair), So I came. There's Scott (Canada), Aga (Poland), Hana (Ceska), Alissa (Canada), Indri and me from Indonesia. It's Aga who cooked the dinner, she cooked spanish food, I have already forgot the name but it was potatoes get fried, then put paprika together with potatoes and mix it with oil together and last step put beaten eggs, and wait until it looks like omelette (for me it's look like that). It's turn out become good dinner with good conversation so we made plan to make it every weekend if we can. This weekend it become my turn to cook, so I will cook Japan food. I challenge myself this time but I guess "Nikujaga" (beef and potatoes) and Miso soup not that hard to make. And this group is really nice group to hangout with, last night I spent dinner with them and we have nice conversation. This is that I really miss with in Semarang. Friends to hangout and to talk about everything. Prepare for my food guy and gals!!
PS: I found that live without internet was good also for me :P

I have post this but somehow the line was not working when I publish it :( ...anyway SFC members come today. They came rather late coz of flight accident in Medan so every flight got delay. SFC looks great, Yossy (3rd time here, right Yossy?) and Otou-san (2nd times) looks like usual :) , another 2 Japanese looks like another Japanese who came here, still shy with their english (sorry with another Japanese in this world, this is just my personal conclusion :P). I couldn't book same hotel like before but I got another hotel with great view of Semarang with better price, can't wait comment from participant.

Spent my dinner with UD AIESECers and SFC members. The SFC will have meeting with AIESECers here for couple days before eco tour start. There's another interesting story about Scott (the canadian guy who just arrive Semarang) but not yet for publish I guess :)

I was not really join on the 4th and 5th day coz I gave it to another facilitator. But Haruko got worse on the 3rd night so I must brought her to hospital. Not so worse, it just dehidration and she got some throatache, couldn't eat sweet, suffering for her coz she love sweet things :) , I stay overnight at hotel in case if something happen with tour member. Felt already exhausted this day.

6th day: August 24

I brought them to Final Disposal area, I knew it will be quiet shocking to see Indonesia garbage final place for them but Juhani seem interest to took picture as much as he can :P

After that I took them to enjoy Kreo cave, the boys seem enjoy it very much

and the girls enjoy it with their way, Ayu just listening music in this spot, maybe she already got tired with this tour. More information, maybe this place will be dissapear in few years ahead coz the will build dam here.

We end this day by discussion for Environmental Education.

But UD AIESECers seem want to bring them to hangout so I let them go (more stories: Bram)

I like this place (Ours cafe), it's cozzy. Hard to find this kind of place in Semarang, most cafe like to play their music hard, don't know what happen with them. Both AIESEC seem enjoy this time.

7th day: August 25

The last day in Semarang, They did environmental education with andhiani in the morning and after that did rehearsal for their presentation

they perform this for the people who has already work and cooperate with us during this tour, so this is kind of farrewel party for us.

Coz of limited place, I couldn't invite all AIESECers so we hangout once again the night

1st day: August 19th, 2005
At last Ayu and others arrive in Semarang safely, after few preparation in BINTARI office I took them to see semarang from uptown little bit and directly to go to AIESEC UD office to meet AIESECers.

they joined with our Independence Day celebration in AIESEC office, there's several games. This is one of them, compete to finish crackers.



We have dinner at Semawis Food festival, it just open around a month ago. Quiet nice neighbourhood in chinatown.

2nd & 3rd day: Tapak village
We moved to Tapak Village today to have homestay with local people, they picked up by motorcycle, the Japanese seem excited with this.

I'm not join with all event on 2nd day, need rest for next day.

We did mangrove plantation on the 3rd day to save Tirang island, this small island definitly will be disappear in the few years if we don't plant mangrove there.Some AIESECers joined with us to plant mangrove.

Everybody seem enjoy this event, they tried use cano in the Java sea. They said it looks like roller coaster :)

Some Sophia members looked sick here, maybe coz of the heat.

Back to another hotel today, I tried this hotel for the 1st time. Looks nice and old.
